Bruce
Deas played 363 games for Hill Of Beath Hawthorn and scored 9 goals. His
honours list with the Haws is up with the best of them, 5 League
Championship medals in 94, 95, 96, 98 & 2000, a Scottish Cup winners
medal in 1990 along with both the Fife & Lothians Cup and Fife &
Tayside Cup in 1996. Numerous other local cup winners medals and
invitation tournament prizes are also stored in the Bruce Deas trophy
haul. |
| As
a mark of respect, and in order to honour Bruce's contribution to the Haws
over his 11 year spell, a Testimonial match against a Celtic Select was
held on 2nd March 2003. |

The
Bruce Deas 'Haws' select included Scottish Cup winning team-mates David
Westwood, John Mitchell, Brian Kenny and Russell Brebner. Guest
appearances were made by Bruce's brother Paul along with John Wright and
James 'Nobby' McNab.
The
Haws select won the match by 4 goals to 3.

team-mates and friends honoured Bruce with speeches. |
