The Haws progress to the next round of the RJM Sports League Cup after a narrow 3-2 win over Tynecastle.
Goals were never in doubt as the game ended 3-2 to the Haws and it was Hill of Beath who strike first in the 3rd minute as a perfect ping is played to the wing where John Smith fakes the defender, cuts inside, takes the extra touch and slots it into the bottom corner 𝗧𝘆𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝟬 𝗛𝗮𝘄𝘀 𝟭
Just moments after the Haws goal, Tynecastle equalise, the Haws defender passes the ball back it takes a wicked bounce, and it rolls into the Haws goal. 𝗧𝘆𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝟭 𝗛𝗮𝘄𝘀 𝟭
Haws get a corner on 17 minutes and its Jake Mitchell who gets on the end of it after a clever run to lose his opponent and nods it right into the goalkeeper's net. 𝗧𝘆𝗻𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝟭 𝗛𝗮𝘄𝘀 𝟮

The second half started quick as Haws goalkeeper Blair was forced into a crucial early save. Shortly after Haws are attacking with momentum as Jordan Tosh plays an outstanding ball to John Smith as he lets the ball run an extra yard and the keeper is on the floor early as he slots it in and doubles his tally. 𝗧𝗬𝗡𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗟𝗘 𝟭 𝗛𝗔𝗪𝗦 𝟯

Just short of 60 minutes Jordan Tosh makes a smart run and is through 1 on 1 and he has been brought down in the box - penalty Haws. Up steps Jake Mitchell but the Tynecastle keeper had other plans making a fantastic save to deny Haws a 3 goal lead. However, Tynecastle were still seeking the win as they pull one back with a run to lose the defender and slot it under Blair in the 61st minute.

𝗧𝗬𝗡𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗟𝗘 𝟮 𝗛𝗔𝗪𝗦 𝟯. There was not much more action in the game other than some fouls and offsides.
