Friday 5th October
On our travels again tonight to New Victoria Park, Newtongrange Star in our third league game. A warm welcome was received with the pitch in excellent condition. We started quickly and were soon pressing for the opener which came from a Rory corner after 16 minutes which Jake headed powerfully home. Lewis was then upended in the box and from the resulting penalty he made it 2-0. The lads came out for the second half in determined fashion and further goals were to follow with another 3 counters from Lewis and 2 more from Ryan and MOM Deano making the final score to 7-0. Again delighted with the clean sheet, the work rate and the attitude from all the players.
