Back at Keirs Park tonight for our 2nd Round Challenge Cup tie against Lothian Thistle HV. From the off we struggled to get into our normal stride and HV took advantage of some slack play from us and we went in 2-0 down at the interval. A bit of reorganisation at half time and we started the second half strongly. Midway through the half Ryan scored from a direct free kick and it was game on again. This though only seemed to trigger some more slack play and again HV scored two more counters. Jack got one back in the last minute and we eventually lost out 4-2. Credit to HV on their win. A disappointing night for the lads after the high standards they have set and already they’re looking forward to next week at home to Edinburgh City in the Knock Out Cup.
