The Haws stay top of the table in a 6-goal thriller which took place at Keirs Park.
The game started off end to end with Whitburn controlling the first 15 minutes of the game, chances for both teams early on with the Whitburn keeper being forced into some crucial saves early on. The Haws go 1-0 up in the 31st minute from a long throw in which came towering into the box, Whitburn got the initial contact with a header but that wasn’t enough to stop Paul Simpson who hit the strike right into the goalkeepers far left corner.
Whitburn were punished again 2 minutes later as their goalkeeper came out to collect the ball and brought down the haws attacker and the ref pointed to the spot. Up stepped Jake Mitchell who calmly slotted the ball into the bottom right corner sending the goalkeeper the wrong way

It only took 20 minutes of the second half before the visitors pulled one back from the spot, It was the last thing Whitburn wanted after scoring the referee has shown the juniors defender a straight red. Haws took the extra man advantage scoring in the 70th minute with a goal from Dan Watt who took the last touch from a corner losing his defender.
Haws hungry for goals found the net once again from a corner which found the boot of Jake Mitchell who has now scored a brace.
The game has already been killed off but haws were out for more scoring a fifth goal in the 90+1 minute as Jordan Tosh neatly takes it round the keeper and slots the ball into the open net
